I haven't seen any real evidence that he celebrated the holiday at all. Has anyone else? If you do let me know.
There certainly are Sherlock Holmes costumes worn by many people today at Halloween. Some just use the hat and pipe. Others go all out and wear the full thing. Both guys and gals go for this costume.
I'm going to try to post a new item each day this month about the customs, history and activities of the holiday.
